So you have your Shopify store set up and ready to go…but you have no products to start marketing? What do you do?!
When looking for products, I have a criteria which I follow to see if the product is worth selling.
Does it solve a problem? Are people passionate about this niche? Is there a demand for it?
Today I will show you a few of my methods which I use to find products for my dropshipping business.
Wish is pretty much made up of Aliexpress products. I usually pay attention to what’s popular and already selling.
You can also have a look at the different niches in the navigation for more product ideas.
Head over to Facebook.
In the search bar, I usually type in buyer intent words such as buy it now, claim yours today etc…
Check out the other keyword ideas which have been suggested by Facebook. You can find new great ideas when product researching.
See how these ads also used Buy It Now in their copy?
These products are definitely attracting people’s interests.
I’ve also seen these products before and know exactly where to source them from!
Here’s a cool trick to find other Shopify drop shipping stores. Simply type in a niche with .myshopify.com.
Have a look through the top links and spy on other stores to see what products they’re promoting. How they are setting up their funnels and email marketing?
Pay attention to the website design, colors and layout which you can also implement on your own Shopify store.
Thieve.co is a curation of Aliexpress products hand picked by people from around the world.
I love using this site as it is linked directly to Aliexpress making my life easier.
You can sort by differnet categories and also refine to trending and popluar products.
Keep in mind to find products which include epacket shipping before adding them to your Shopify store.
Pexda is a paid service which shows you “winning products”.
I recommend not paying for this service if you’re just starting out and you have a low budget.
Winning products are products which have a high sales volume.
Pexda is able to gather information about successful products and their marketing campaigns.
You can see a variety of information about these products which you can use for your own store.
Keep in mind, there will be other drop shippers seeing the same products meaning it might be a bit more challenging to market successfully.
Overall its a great site for inspiration when reseatching products for your store.
6.Amazon Movers and Shakers
Amazon is a great place to find products for drop shipping.
Amazon Movers & Shakers will show you products with the most sales in the past 24 hours.
You can analsye the trending products and see what is working in the current market place.
I sometimes spend hours on Amazon looking at different products and niches.
I also recommend having a look at new releases to see if I can find similar products on Aliexpress.
Last on the list will be watchcount.com. Similar to Amazon Movers & Shakers, it shows you popular products which people are currently interested in, check out the number of watches.
You don’t want to spend a whole heap of time to market and sell a product which no one wants.
So there you have it! My simple and quick techniques for finding products which you can sell on your Shopify store.
Remember to test different products to see what works best for you.
Different products may work well for others but it not work for you. It’s all about testing, testing and testing.
