Savage Affiliates is an online course by Franklin Hatchett, the creator of Ecom Elites.
This course, however, takes the student in the affiliate marketing journey, as opposed to Franklin’s other course, which is about dropshipping.
The question is: is it worth your money? Is this the best affiliate marketing training program?
I will share with you my thoughts about the course, as I took it myself.
In this Savage Affiliates Review, I will walk you through the contents of each module.
By the end of this review, you should be able to make an informed decision if you will take this course or not.
Module 1: Affiliate Marketing Products to Promote
There is an introduction video before you get to this module.
In here, Franklin discusses the most important part in affiliate marketing—selecting a niche.
Here, he tells you not to pick a niche yet. He just introduces you to the different niches that you can promote. He also tells you why these products make money.
He also shows you some examples of the niches that still works for him, like the physical fitness and the web hosting niche.
In this module, he also provides a list of products that he has promoted himself. These products are:
- ClickBank products
- Amazon products
Franklin lays out the framework of what you should promote. In this module, he also teaches what niches and products make the most money—based on his and his friend’s experiences.
Overall, this module will teach you what niches make money, so you do not pick one that is not going to earn you any passive income. The best part of this module is how he runs through each of the products he recommends and how much commission these companies offer.
Module 2: Building Your Website Asset
The second module of the Savage Affiliates affiliate program tells the student how to start a website.
In this module, he shows you some tips on how to pick and buy a domain name and how to build a website on WordPress.
The coverage of this module are:
- What plugins to use
- What plugins to delete
- How to install a website theme
- How to add articles to your website
- How to create categories on your website
- How to create legal pages
- Ho to create an About Me page
- How widgets work
In this module, he teaches you what kind of plugins can slow your website, or what plugins have vulnerabilities that will compromise your website security.
It is also in this module where he teaches you how to get email addresses.
This entire section will teach you how to build your WordPress website, not Shopify.
He recommends WordPress because it is easy to use, and it is the same CMS that he uses for his websites.
By the end of this module, you would have learned how to create your own website with WordPress, complete with plugin recommendations from him.
Lastly, he also teaches you how to edit your profile, which will show on your post.
Module 3: Email and Marketing Funnels
It is in this module that you now begin to learn how email marketing works.
In this part, he will show you how to set-up your email marketing account, and how you can integrate it with your website.
Here are the topics for this module:
- The value of an email list
- What email software to use
- How to integrate it with WordPress
- How to create an email list
- How to create a simple newsletter
- An intro to sales funnels
- How to connect GetResponse with ClickFunnels
- How to create email capture forms
- How to create a “Thank you” page
- How to install pixels in your pages
At the end of this module, you should have a clear idea of how email marketing works, and how you tie it up with your sales funnel.
You will learn a lot from this module, even if you do not use his recommended tools.
The two main tools he uses are GetResponse and ClickFunnels, but you can certainly replace both of these with great alternatives that you can find online.
For the pixels training, he focuses on installing Facebook pixel in your funnel inside ClickFunnels, not inside your website, so you can track people who go to your website, and you can do re-targeting.
Module 4: ClickBank Affiliate Marketing
In this module, Franklin introduces you to ClickBank.
He shows you that ClickBank is a marketplace, and how you can use it to look for products that you can promote.
The topics covered in this module are:
- ClickBank account
- Marketplace overview
- ClickBank stats
- Different niches you can check out
- Keyword tools
- Where to get writers
- Running an ad on Google
- Building a sales funnel
- Running Facebook Ads
The entire coverage of this module is ClickBank, but all the things you will learn here can be applied to all affiliate products.
In this module, you will learn how to find the best products to promote on ClickBank, and how you can drive sales to your squeeze pages.
He shows you the different methods on how to advertise, what not to do when advertising, and you will also learn how to spy on ads on Facebook from your competitors.
He focuses on the one-page review method. He shows you how to pay a writer to do the copywriting, and how you can create ads to take a person to your landing page, and then finally to the affiliate page.
He also teaches you how to create a squeeze or bridge page.
Module 5: ClickFunnels Affiliate Marketing
In this module, the focus of the study is ClickFunnels.
The goal of this module is for you to be an affiliate of ClickFunnels.
It is the program where Franklin has made lots of money, and he shows you his techniques on how you can do the same.
Franklin is one of the few guys who won the Dream Car Challenge for ClickFunnels.
The coverage of this module is shown below:
- Overview of ClickFunnels
- Case studies
- Paid ads and how you can use it to sell ClickFunnels
- How much money you can make from ClickFunnels
- How to use the bonus stack
- How to get free trials to ClickFunnels
- How to get traffic
- How to create call-to-action
By the end of this module, you would have learned how to effectively market ClickFunnels as an affiliate.
His strategies do not just involve usual techniques, but real techniques that you will not find anywhere else.
In this module, he also teaches you how to calculate your costs if you run ads, and how you can create bridge pages between the ad and your ClickFunnels affiliate sales page.
He shows you why it is illegal to direct a person from an ad to your affiliate page, and this is why you need to first take your lead into a squeeze page.
There is a second part for the ClickFunnels module, but this is locked, and you can only view it if you upgrade to a higher tier of the program.
Module 6: Amazon Affiliate Marketing
In this module, Franklin covers how you can be an affiliate of Amazon and why you need to consider to be one.
The module coverage is shown below:
- How to sign up to Amazon associates
- Examples of Amazon Associate websites
- Understanding buyer intent keywords
- Ideal products to promote
- How to find a niche
- How to find products
This module is an exhaustive training about the Amazon Associates program. You will no longer need to buy another course to learn how to promote Amazon products.
On top of the things you will learn about the Amazon affiliate program, Franklin also teaches you how to get traffic to your website, and how you can convince people to buy products on Amazon.
The thing with this module is that you may find it difficult to decide if you should be an affiliate of ClickFunnels, ClickBank, or Amazon.
Franklin says in this module that ClickBank has some limitations and that there rarely are physical products found in the site.
In Amazon, you can find millions of products that you can sell, and you will not have issues with convincing a customer to buy a product on Amazon because it is a known company all throughout the world.
Module 7 – 8: Google + Free Traffic Training
Franklin covers how you can get free traffic to your website. At the start of the course, he tells you that you cannot earn as an affiliate marketer unless you drive traffic to your website.
There are two modules for the traffic. The first one is Google and the second one is about free traffic.
Here are some of the things you will learn from these modules:
- Search engine optimization
- How to track keywords
- How to do on-page SEO
- How to do off-page SEO
- How to get backlinks
- How to use blog comments to get traffic
- Social signals and Quora
- Guest posting and Web 2.0
- Private Blog Networks
In these two modules, you will fully understand how search engine optimization works, and how you can get free traffic to your site instead of paying money for ads.
This module is heavy—there are so many things he will teach you, and I suggest that you take two traffic strategies at a time, so you do not get overwhelmed.
Module 9: Paid Traffic Training
The last module is the paid traffic where you get to learn how to advertise on Google and other platforms.
The coverage is:
- Facebook ads
- Google ads
- YouTube ads
- Other methods
He starts this module by telling you to identify your buyer.
This is an important part of the training, and he discusses how you must create a buyer persona.
With this, you can create a customer avatar, and you can use this avatar to build your ads.
Basically, if you know your buyer, you know what keywords to target so your ads can perform better and give you a higher conversion rate.
This module also teaches you what you can do to make your ads more effective—by giving away free stuff like free training, and then leading your site visitor to your affiliate product pages.
Franklin advises that you should not spend too much money on ads and that you should not scale so soon.
You first need to learn how to do A/B split testing, and then figure out which of your ads are performing better.
Savage Affiliates is an all-in-one-course best affiliate marketing course.
Not only does Franklin teaches you how affiliate marketing works, but also how to choose the right niche and what marketing strategies you can implement to make your business successful.
I highly recommend that you take the course, as this can help you cut down the time it takes to get your affiliate marketing business up and running.
As always, a course is not a guarantee that you will succeed—the success of your business depends on your effort and skill.
